Marker and Stone (5469)

I often find these kinds of houses because of the trees.  I call them marker trees because they were often planted by the pioneers at about the time that the houses were built.  Today, there are more trees around these houses, so they are more difficult to see, but the marker trees, which are often spruce rise higher than the deciduous trees, so they often give away the locations.
