Lauguage Of The Plains (WAB1752)

I named this image "Language of the Plains" because of the Marker Trees.  This term, marker trees, is not a formal term, it is simply something that I have created to indicate that these trees are very common on the prairie, and were planted by the original settlers to mark the land and provide shelter from wind.  Often it is the marker trees that give away a location of a farm or homestead even at great distances spanning a number of miles.  So it is the Marker Trees who, through their language, have guided me.  Thanks to Reese, who was with me during this excursion, it seems to me that it is with him that I find and am able to take some of my better images.
