(This house is located along the US Border, but was photographed from the Canadian side. This is one of the few places in Manitoba where the road runs right along the border. And perhaps even more interesting is the fact that the road is actually BELOW the 49th parallel, which means that according to satellite imagery, technically this road should be in the US, not Canada. Which demonstrates that when the borders were drawn, while the best technology was used, it was not as accurate as modern methods. Unfortunately the northern point of view means that no light falls onto the side of the house facing the camera, so some over exposure was necessary to retain details in the shadows)
