I see this scene almost every time I go to Thunder Bay. There is a simplicity about it that always strikes me as peaceful and beautiful. This version was taken from the 5th floor of a local hotel with a 500mm lens.
I learned something on this trip... With this lens even on a tripod, my camera shakes when the mirror goes up or down. This is a situation where mirror lockup is virtually necessary.
The vignette is native to the lens, so I decided not to correct for it.
Let me say, MASTER Wayne move from winter and old cotages and historical houses ( not to mention pre-historical cars- just kidding ), somewhere near the water.I must admit I like the change and challange, and as always you did so well, so well , let me say it again.As you say in your comment - I like the simplicity of the scenary, this calming mood and the "melem" for the eyes.Great work my dear frien
