What you will need:

1. A camera that can be manually adjusted (aperture, shutter and ISO)
2. A tripod (You can share one)
3. A lens in the 18-70 mm range
4. A cable release would be useful but not necessary.
5. Your camera manual -- VERY IMPORTANT --

The evening will begin with a presentation on night photography. Following supper, we will adjust the cameras in the class for night photography, and then divide up into groups. Each group will have a map and route. We will meet at each location and take pictures.

I did not see it right away either, but the lens caused the sides of the granary to slope in towards the centre of the picture.
