Your old cars shot serie is very beautiful, I especially love the composition of this one. We can see a lot of beautiful colors and the vegetation on it... it is like the coral living on a died boat in the sea. We can always feel their power when it was proud and bright on the street, now these cars rest in their prairie... respect.

the series was a good thing for me to do, and traveling with it around the province was a lot of fun.

I imagine how it has been pleasant for you to discover all these old cars in the country, all around the province. Each car can give to you a good shot, the happyness for a photographer.
Have a good week end :)

It has been a good time.  A few years ago I had a show of my work called "An Olde Ride - Classics in the Rough" it toured the province for a few years and got provincial and national attention.  After that, people started to call me and tell me about other sites, some quite hidden.  So it is not just me finding the cars myself, very often it is other who let me know what is out there.

You have a good weekend too.

I know a few auto restoration specialists that might go so far as to torture you for your treasure map to these hiding places.  Another wonderful discovery, stupendously captured.

lol... I believe they would be hard pressed.  One of the reasons I find so many is that people know that I will not divulge locations, and that protects the cars from vandalism.

Discretion, almost a lost value in this day and time.

I suppose.  My ability to work is built upon trust.  I have built a network of contacts and I certainly do not want to compromise that.  So in some ways, it is not discretion at all, but self preservation.  Sometimes altruistic appearing actions can be very selfish.

I guess bernie, it is just kind of a truth on life. Pretty obvious, but we seem to skip over it so often.

thanks,

It was the detail and texture that was really important to me. The contrast may be a bit low, but then it was details that I was shooting for in this piece.

Great shot! I love the textures - dirt and rust, and the grass in the front-ground gives extra-charm to the shot!
