Ford 85 by WayneBenedet Ford 85 by WayneBenedet
For all the detail fans. 1937 Ford truck.

You know ... I have to say that it annoys me off that 72 people download the image, and don't even have the decency to say thanks by adding a :+fav:

theft is never acceptable, especially when all people need to do is ask.

I wasn't aware of the theft... your description mentioned just ungrateful downloading.

...and then, from theft often eventually arises the brutally watermarked art; sort of ,,this is why we can't have nice things" example.

I agree with you on the downloading part. At least a person could leave a message saying thanks if nothing else!

one would think... at another site I have they do a 2.99 HD download. I have not enabled that yet, but it is an interesting concept.

2.99 HD? That went right over my head.

sorry,

it means you can down load a high quality (but small) version that you could use as a desktop or background image. At the most it would make an 8x10 print, beyond that the quality would drop. It is kind of like buying a song from iTunes

No apology necessary. I kinda like it when I have to ask questions... it keeps the conversation going and I learn stuff. :D

Okay... then does the 2.99 mean $2.99? That makes total sense. But if it is $2.99, does that money go to you or to the site?

The last part I am not sure about. I am sure the gallery takes some, perhaps even half. I was kind of thinking that with a PayPal account one could just offer the same thing and maybe even offer it for say $1.99. Which is not a lot of money, and would be about the same as buying a song, or an App on line.

Yes, you're right on that. Interesting... make your own site and offer them yourself. I know there are stock sites out there... but if you offered your photos for less than other stock sites charge... hmmm It might work!

Love those rusty old trucks! :w00t: Lots of nice details left on this old girl. That grill is really nice and straight and has the original chrome V8. Can't say I've ever seen a Ford 55 badge but it's cool that it's out there. Nice find and capture, Wayne

Well, generally speaking, it's unusual to see anything that interests me in the top 100 - though that doesn't stop me from having DA as a gadget on my iGoogle homepage...

on that I tend to agree, it usually take me about 1000 before the good stuff starts, unless of course it is someone I watch.

But Manners are sorely lacking in places far far from DA as well

Great context to the shot

If you suddenly stopped speaking your mind,my friend
I would arrange for the boys with the looonng sleeved white coats to drop by one of your classes and haul you off to the "Funny Farm"

Gotta go with your strengths:thumbsup:
Besides I have never seen you actually be rude, just "To the Point"

My Dad had '36 ford truck and it is parked on the farm and has as much rust as this one. I learned to drive using this truck and had to sit on the edge of the seat to reach the clutch, brake and gas. I think i was about ten and the truck was pretty beaten up and used very little at that time but I thought it was great fun.
