We all live on that thin edge. But for most of us, our lives, are sheltered by our good paying jobs, the buffer we have in the bank, friends and family. All of these things while good, to tend to insulate us from the reality of how precarious and precious life is.
Sometimes though, when we are in the right space, and we see some object that is clearly along that edge, we are pulled into that opening and are able to reconnect through it, to our own fragile existence. To our own thin edge.
The sermon of the edge can be sometimes heard, but most times it can only be felt. Regardless of the medium, those who are open to the essence of life are able to feel for even a brief moment, their own existence as something totally separate from what they do, from what they think and probably even more importantly what they think they possess.

Thank a lot, I am sorry to see you go, but maybe you will still have time to check in once in a while. Good luck with the house.
We are all but a disaster away from the stone age
You know, as time passes and people move on to a new home, it surprises me that these homes are not either kept up or demolished. They do however make for a wonderful scene and possibly even a great story of what once was.
