Crossing Into Autumn

I came across the original image I posted here a number of years ago, I could not believe how poor the processing was... so I decided to re-do the work. Not only the tools have changed, but my abilities as well. The tree looks a bit over sharpened in this version. I think it is a result of how dA puts it onto the site.

(Original Comment) I like the idea of actually crossing a line, and arriving in another season, kind of like going on a journey through a star gate or some other science fiction device. And I suppose the concept has truth when you think that the seasonal times happen as the sun appears to cross certain points in the globe.
