Voice Of The Pioneer - Free Press

Gerhard Ens Gallery - Steinbach

I have been looking forward to this show for some time. This is the largest, and perhaps the most beautiful gallery my work has been shown in. In part because of the size of the space, "Voice of the Pioneer" as well as "An Olde Ride - Classics in the Rough" will be on display. In total there will be 67 pieces on display.

Copies of images from the show are available on line EXCLUSIVELY from The Untapped Source. They can be ordered in a variety of sizes and mediums including Canvas (like in the show), water colour paper and regular photographic papers.

Signed, mounted, canvas editions are available during the show. Production is limited.

Taking Better Pictures - FINAL

This is the final version of the second edition. It has been fully revised and edited, and a new appendix has been added with more advanced material. (My thanks to Cindy Minguez for her editing expertise)

The Gallery at Deviant Art is to show my work and to provide information on shows, exhibits, workshops, and courses that I am offering in South Central Manitoba. If you are interested, please use the contact information on the poster or brochure.

The gallery is divided into folders. When you enter the gallery, the folders are displayed on the right side of the screen. The first is my ID folder. It contains information about displays of my work, as well as published news articles.

The folders below my ID contain collections. Some have toured in Manitoba.

"An Olde Ride - Classics in the Rough" [link] is a collection that toured in Manitoba from 2008 to 2011. The show consisted of 33 pieces taken from the total collection. Information on the show and where it was displayed will be found on the left of the screen when you enter the folder/gallery. “An Olde Ride” is currently on “blocks” but will come down in May 2012 to show at the Gerhard Ens Gallery, at the Mennonite Historical Village, Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada.

“Voice of the Pioneer,” [link] is a new collection that began to tour Manitoba in the fall of 2011. The show dates and places are listed on the left of the screen after you enter the folder/gallery.

The Rural and Northern Juried Art Show has also selected pieces of my work in 2008, 2009 and 2010 to tour the province. This is a five month tour which includes Winnipeg, Carman, Holland, Portage and Morden.

I teach photography and processing at Red River College at the Winkler Campus. If you are interested, please contact the College. I also teach photography in a number of rural communities. These workshops, courses and excursions are published here on the front page. If you are interested, please use the contact information provided.
